This glass sculpture is a narrative on the current state of the opioid epidemic: from a healthcare perspective to a human perspective, how did we arrive at this point in time?  This piece invites the viewer to examine his/her own assumptions about opioids, addiction, pain management, and access to pharmaceuticals...keeping in mind "do no harm".  Featuring flameworked glass pills and pill bottles, kiln cast glass head using lost wax technique.
